Introduce Yourself!
Welcome everyone 👋 Introduce yourself by sharing just a few things so we get to know each other. - Where you’re coming from (educator, student, professional, lifelong learner, curious human, etc.) - One way technology or AI currently shows up in your learning or work - One question, curiosity, or challenge you have around EdTech or AI right now That’s it. There’s no expectation that you have things figured out. “I’m confused but curious” is a perfectly valid starting point here. If you’re more of a reader than a poster, that’s okay too. You’re welcome to jump in whenever it feels right. 😊 I'm looking forward to building this community together! 🚀 👉 Please check out the calendar for my weekly Coffee Chat times ☕️ I’ll go first 👇 (Your turn when you’re ready — and feel free to reply to others as well!)
Third Wave AI
Good morning! (It’s just about afternoon here) A quick update on some AI in Education. I’ve been working with OpenClaw lately to look at creating more robust tutoring solutions. If you watched last weeks LiveStream, then you are familiar with the ideas of a CoWork AI model - where the AI is more than just a conversation. The AI can actually access my computer and do actual activities by itself! There are some concerns about letting AI run around your system - I’m working on a video about that now. Anyhow, the bigger picture is how this will/can be used in learning and education. Is there an interest here in having me share these experiences with the community?
Giant new whiteboard - just arrived
If anyone has been reading community posts on the YouTube channel - I posted some photos on this earlier, but today I released a video on the NearHub S Max board. Earlier, I had a NearHub S55 board (I still do, but I will probably sell it now that I have the S Max) - I used this board absolutely every day. My goal was to use it more in my videos, but it's actually incredibly hard to get the lighting right for these - it's a giant, bright screen! These boards are really good for teaching and training of all types. The new S Max runs Windows 11 Pro instead of Android - which makes a pretty big difference for the type of work I do. Here's the video - I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

New Video - Virtualization on your Mac
There's a new video on my YouTube channel about Parallels virtualization software. I'm not sure how many f you are Mac users (I use several computers - including some Macs). but the Apple silicon is quite powerful for AI Development and use. This video goes over how I set up one of my Mac mini computers to run Windows, Linux, and even an Apple OS sandbox. It's pretty cool to do this - you can check out the video through the link and I'm happy to answer any questions here as well. Also - I used AI to create the thumbnail as a test. I'm not too sold on it. Just wanted to run a test (always learning). Let me know your thoughts. https://youtu.be/_4ufwTtL2kg
