Exercise for muscle relaxation before speaking
A couple weeks ago @Anouchka Hanneman asked me about a practice do to so that you can relax your muscles before speaking and how to prepare And I thought WHAT A wonderful question!! I honestly don’t really relax my muscles before speaking my target language but I think I should. I only used to do that when I would sing in concerts and stuff but I think that it is very useful especially if you want to speak clearly and goodly (I know thats not a word lol) So yeah Here are 3 quick things that you can do 1. The Brrr - I think its called something like the raspberry but anyways you make a brr sound by putting your lips together and its great. Do this for 3 minutes before you speak. 2. Conscious breathing - I know this one sounds kind of weird but if you think about it a lot of the time we are tensed up and if start becoming aware of your breath and kind of focus on it then we relax and especially our throat and whole body just relaxes. Have a concious inhale and exhale for 3-5 minutes 3. Also when I was being taught how to sing one thing that we always did was Yawning and relaxation So after you breath consciously try and yawn. PS: The daily learn languages together will only be 45 minutes instead of the usual 1hr today :) Also if you have any more questions please ask me

What do you actually need from this community? 🙌🏻❤️
I was thinking a lot about all the content and stuff that I created like the 5 day language learning quest or the accountability companions and now the Language exchange sheet and the Daily Language learning calls and sooo much more like the Daily Quote, the Daily value and I could just keep on going And I was wondering if anyone actually needed it… What if I spent all of this time creating something that no one needs? I would love to hear your thoughts on what you actually want and need from this community to learn your dream language But there could also be the case that everyone wants to learn a language but you just don’t know where, how or what to use to learn it… Because usually if someone wants to learn a language and is in this community then there are only 3 problems: Either they don’t know what to actually do in the community, they don’t know where to find what they need to do, They don’t know how to actually do it. I would love to help people out because my goal with this community is to create the best language learning community in Skool and unless I become super clear on what everyone needs that will not be possible. So why are you here? And what do you need to achieve your goal? Rooting for you, Kai

Why do people read?🤔
Why Do People Read? Almost everyone knows how to read. People do it every day, and so we don’t really think about it very much. However, before about 550 years ago, very few people knew how to read. Then, in 1455, a German man called Johannes Gutenburg invented the first printed1 book. Reading then became more and more popular. However, learning to read is not easy and it takes many years in school to become a good reader. So then, you might ask yourself: Why do people read? Well, people read for two reasons. First, they read so that they can learn new things. For example, people read text messages2 to find out what their friends are doing, and they read to find out what time the next bus will arrive. They can even read (study) to learn how to become a restaurant cook, a teacher or a doctor. Many people also read for another reason: reading is fun. If you are a person who enjoys reading, there are many kinds of literature3 to choose from. You can choose to read nonfiction4 and read the biography5 of a famous singer like Paul McCartney, or a famous soccer player like Ronaldo. Or you might decide to read fiction6 , maybe science fiction7 , and read A Journey to the Center of the Earth, by French writer Jules Verne. Or maybe you just want to read some funny stories that make you laugh. So, maybe you want to get some information and learn something new - or maybe you read because you just enjoy it. Schools, the Internet, libraries and bookstores are filled with thousands of short stories, novels8 and biographies of famous people from all over the world, and there are millions of pages out there to teach you almost anything you want to learn. There’s no reason not to read! What types of books or stories do you enjoy reading?

When you cannot practice speaking a language with other people, what can you do to keep improving? What does “repairing your nets” mean when learning a new language? Give examples. How can small daily actions help you prepare for real conversations in a new language?
