Motivation Monday: One Tiny Win
Let’s start this week with something simple… and powerful.
So often we think motivation comes from big goals or huge bursts of energy, but the truth is, it usually comes from doing one tiny thing we’ve promised ourselves.
Just one.
A small win builds momentum. It builds confidence, and it reminds you that you can show up for yourself, even on the busy days, the tired days, or the “I’m not feeling it” days.
Living life with MND often means I can't chase the big goals the way I used to... although that hasn't stopped me trying! These days I focus on tiny wins. Even as simple as ticking things off on my to-do list, stretching for five minutes, finishing a video script, researching my next presentation. Those little moments built the foundation for everything I do.
This week I want to ask you what’s one tiny promise you can make to yourself that you know you can follow through on? Something so small it’s almost impossible to fail. A 5 minute walk, a deep breath before reacting, drinking X amount of water in the day. Putting your phone down for 10 minutes. Writing one sentence toward a goal.
Tiny wins add up. They change the way you see yourself. They build resilience one moment at a time.
