I remember when I was first diagnosed with MND - talk about a massive life change!
At first, it felt like my world had been flipped upside down. But as I started embracing the change (instead of fighting it), I discovered new strengths, new perspectives, and even new opportunities I never imagined.
Here’s what helped me:
- I gave myself space to feel the emotions, but I didn’t let them define me.
- Losing my physical abilities led me to discover new ways to inspire, teach, and connect with amazing people like YOU!
- My support system has been EVERYTHING. I wouldn’t be here without my incredible family, friends and carers who lift me up.
