FAQ - How Do I Lead With Confidence?
Confidence is a behavioral trait developed through repetition and positive self-perception. I encourage you to engage in the right practices consistently, as this will compound your confidence over time. For me personally, confidence comes from doing what i know is good for me. - Physical exercise (even if it's a small session, something better than nothing) - Resting (chilling out) - something i have become better at, not feeling like i've got to be moving or doing something all the time. The confidence aspect that comes from resting is knowing i am looking after my body and mind. - Consistency - eating the right foods, staying hydrated etc. Essentially giving yourself the best chance to thrive as a leader and as a professional. I have a bunch of FAQs that people ask - and i try and answer black and white as i can. Video attached. https://www.loom.com/share/eaf2634e43eb4b4485013b3975e715b4

Your Self Talk Will Govern Who You Are
Your self talk and what you repeat to yourself becomes what you believe quickly. Then what happens (and i happened to me) is you begin to lose your own personal identity. You start to say to yourself '' i used to be X, now i am Y '' What you believe drives how you lead and handle yourself every day. Mantras are strategic. This weeks topic on ''Mantras'' explores how the right internal dialogue can anchor your confidence, reset your headspace under pressure, and keep you aligned with the leader you're working to become. The weekly video is in the Start Here classroom module. Give it a watch!! Words shape identity. Identity shapes behaviour. Behaviour shapes results.

Building Staff Culture Through Accountability
In my first major leadership role, I focused on building our staff culture from day one. I set clear standards on a document that i personally made, with a no shit jobs approach, meaning nobody should think they are in trouble for the less favorable tasks, because every job contributes to the end goal. I made it clear to the team that every one percenter is vital to success and longevity. I was firm and fair, and if people did not like it, right then and there was the time they could make a career change.
