In my first major leadership role, I focused on building our staff culture from day one.
I set clear standards on a document that i personally made, with a no shit jobs approach, meaning nobody should think they are in trouble for the less favorable tasks, because every job contributes to the end goal.
I made it clear to the team that every one percenter is vital to success and longevity. I was firm and fair, and if people did not like it, right then and there was the time they could make a career change.
