Action: 1. Going to the gym in the morning. 2. Listening to my favorite music.
Result: 1. Movement helps my body and my mind synch. 2. Listening to music shifts my thoughts from my to do list to my "how I relate to the music" thoughts. = both positive
Action: Eating snacks instead of a "meal" for dinner.
Result: Woke up at 2 am and had a hard time going back to sleep = negative
I can look back on some of my past journal entries and list a whole bunch more of these types of "noticing".
