Every agency owner loses leads because of slow follow-up. Here's how I fixed it in 2 hours.
Hi all I've been struggling with following up with leads on time, and I know a lot of you have too.
You get a new lead from Facebook Ads, you're busy delivering work for a client, and suddenly 3 days passed and you never followed up. That lead is cold now. Gone.
I spent some time last week building a simple automation for this, and it now runs 100% on autopilot for less than $10/m:
1. Facebook Lead Ads Trigger Every time someone fills your Facebook lead form, the workflow fires automatically. No manual checking, no copy-pasting into a spreadsheet.
2. Wait 24 hours The workflow pauses for exactly 24 hours. Enough time to see if they reach out first — without you lifting a finger.
3. Check Gmail for a reply n8n searches your inbox automatically. Did this lead already email you back? If yes — workflow stops. No double messaging. Professional.
4. IF they didn't reply → send a personalized follow-up n8n sends a Gmail automatically with their name pulled directly from the Facebook form. It feels manual. It's not.
5. Log everything to Google Sheets Every follow-up sent is logged automatically with name, email, date and status. You always know what happened and when.
Total cost: n8n cloud = ~$8/m Set it up once. It runs forever.
