The Battle
Lately I’ve been sitting with a question that won’t leave me alone…
Why does it feel like I’m competing with the world just to raise my own children?
I’m not trying to control them—I’m trying to guide them. To teach them love, respect, discipline, truth. To raise them in alignment with what is right… with Yah’s way. To plant values that actually mean something when life gets real.
But everything feels like a battle.
It’s like the world is louder than me.
Stronger than me.
Pulling them in every direction while I’m just trying to anchor them.
There’s so much resistance.
So much pushback.
So much… rebellion.
And I’m sitting here wondering—
Why does doing the right thing feel like going against the current every single day?
Why does it feel like I have to fight for their attention, their hearts, their minds?
I love my children with everything in me.
So this isn’t coming from anger… it’s coming from exhaustion.
From wanting peace in the place that should feel the safest.
If you’ve felt this too… how do you handle it?
How do you stay grounded when it feels like you’re raising your kids in a world that’s constantly working against what you’re teaching?
I’m listening. 🤍
