Can I talk to you about your default settings?
When your phone starts acting up freezing, glitching, moving slow sometimes a restart fixes it.
But sometimes?
It's been through too much. Too many downloads. Too many apps running in the background. Too much junk accumulated over too many years.
And a simple restart won't cut it.
You need a factory reset.
You know what a factory reset does it takes the phone all the way back to what the manufacturer intended before YOU got your hands on it. Before all the downloads. Before all the storage got eaten up. Before all the chaos.
And suddenly it works again. It has space. It has clarity. It moves the way it was designed to move.
I need to talk to somebody today about doing a factory reset on themselves.
Because life has a way of filling us up with things that were never supposed to be in there.
The trauma. The heartbreak. The failed marriages. The deaths. The disappointments. The stress that became normal. The exhaustion that became identity. The lies that got repeated so many times they started to feel like truth.
And somewhere underneath all of that underneath everything life downloaded into you without your permission...... is still the original you.
The one God designed before the world got its hands on you.
The one He spoke over before you knew struggle.
The one He called before you knew failure.
And the only way to get back to that version of yourself is to go back to what the Manufacturer said.
Not what your childhood said. Not what your ex said. Not what the scale said. Not what the diagnosis said. Not what the bank account said.
What GOD said.
Here is your factory reset:
The world said you are too broken to be whole.God said — I will restore the years the locust has eaten. Joel 2:25
The world said you are too far gone.God said — I knew you before I formed you in the womb. Jeremiah 1:5
The world said you are not enough.God said — I have set you apart. Jeremiah 1:5
The world said you will always struggle.God said — I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Jeremiah 29:11
The world said you are defined by what happened to you.God said — Therefore if anyone is in Christ the new creation has come. The old has gone. The new is here. 2 Corinthians 5:17
The world said you are too tired to keep going.God said — Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. Isaiah 40:31
The world said you are alone in this.God said — I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5
The world said you are what you've done.God said — There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1
You were fearfully and wonderfully made.
Chosen for such a time as this.
Called. Equipped. Covered.
THAT is your default setting.
THAT is who you were before life started downloading its version of you.
And it is still in there.
Go back to what the Manufacturer said.
Reset.
