Hey all. I’m from the Chicago area in Illinois. I’m a pastor and digital marketing strategist. I spent 20 years in cybersecurity before getting laid off last October. So, I’m pursuing digital marketing as a way to replace that income.

After being laid off twice within 18 months, I decided to start my own thing that can’t be taken away from me. 😎 My corporate experience was in user experience, but now I help wedding service providers turn their best client and business relationships into a consistent stream of referrals. I’m currently working with my first two beta clients! I’m here because the idea of using social media to grow my business has always turned me off. I never wanted to consistently be on camera or spend hours filming and editing content. I didn’t even think of Threads being a viable way to grow an email list, and I love writing, so I’m excited to give it a shot using the skills I learn in this group!
