My name is Crystal, and I’m tuning in from Detroit, Michigan. I’m interested in learning how to escape the 9-5. I love my job, but like many, I desire time, location, and financial freedom. Success to me looks like waking up without an alarm, taking afternoons off to move my body (in the gym or in nature, on a climbing wall, or on a hike with a loved one), and being more present with friends and family. I’m learning to trade options in my spare time and I’m really enjoying the process. I’m considering what it would look like to build a small cohort who is interested in learning alongside me. Hello everyone, my name is Berly. I am a retired government safety inspector working as a substitute teacher to keep me busy. I was recently convinced to start my own online business so I thought of doing what I have known for so many years and let my experience help a small business owner. I have started creating content online but I am still learning as there is always something new to learn and experience. I did not have experience with social media as I only used it periodically and I had never posted anything before. I hope to learn from everybody.

I’m excited to be in this group! I’m a new business owner based in the Detroit area, MI. After being laid off twice within 18 months, I decided to start my own thing that can’t be taken away from me. 😎 My corporate experience was in user experience, but now I help wedding service providers turn their best client and business relationships into a consistent stream of referrals. I’m currently working with my first two beta clients! I’m here because the idea of using social media to grow my business has always turned me off. I never wanted to consistently be on camera or spend hours filming and editing content. I didn’t even think of Threads being a viable way to grow an email list, and I love writing, so I’m excited to give it a shot using the skills I learn in this group!
