Welcome to Keep Turning Up! 👊
I'm James. 42 years old. 9-5 Civil engineer. Dad. And a man who got tired of playing roles that don't feel real anymore. This community exists for men who feel the same pull — the quiet voice telling you there's more to you. More presence. More strength. More authenticity. More of the man you were actually built to be. This isn't a highlight reel. There's no guru here. Just a man doing the work in real time — physically, mentally, as a father — and sharing every step honestly. The wins, the struggles, the breakthroughs and the setbacks. What we're building here together: - Regular check-ins and accountability - Honest conversations about discipline, fatherhood, and sovereignty - A collective of men choosing to become their higher selves — one day at a time, together The only rule: keep turning up! Even when it's messy. Even when you don't feel like it. Especially then. Follow the journey on YouTube 👇 https://youtube.com/@jamesmasemann.official?si=PP8jiERRpsxkl5_r Drop a comment below and tell us who you are, a painful observation of yourself and one thing you're working on becoming. A famous quote I use as a guide: The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek. Joseph Campbell. Let's do this together. 💪

Day 41 of 90!
Well well. I almost deleted my Skool account just now. I was thinking, what's the point? There's no one here... but that is wrong. I'M HERE. If it's 15 per month then so be it. If that keeps me accountable then SO BE IT. MWAHAHAA Starting this weekend is the before photos! 😬 gonna put it all out there. Well not all. But time to be brave. I'll start a weekly strength challenge at the gym which will be a good way to keep tabs on progress. On that note, I've had to lay off the morning dead hangs. Some serious golfers elbow for the past month or so. The body is working! I've toned back the PT sessions to make sure i hit Xfit 5x per week. I've upped the protein and doing a whole lot of deleting bad habits and creating non-negotiables. One of which is bed time at 10pm! Ciao for now party people 💪 keep turning up!

Day 32 of 90
Well. Let's be honest. Wheels are a bit wobbly. There have been a couple days with no morning routine. Just saying. She isn't locked in tight yet! This morning i managed a half routine. Motivation, dead. Fucks, zero. I think I'm relying on the xfit too much, but when i don't make it there for whatever reason pops up, I'm telling myself that I'll get there and that will make up for the morning sessions missed. What is this, shitty self talk. Keep turning up! Arrghh. Before you do it, you must go through it! Tomorrow we go again! Strength and honour!

Almost a month in, what's changed?
As I write this I'm lying in bed trying to find motivation to get up. Kids were up through the night and i finally put the book down last night around 1130pm. So yeah, still trying to find consistency in going to sleep. I think that is what i need to really focus on. Bed by 10 and book down by 1030. In other news, I'm reducing my fortnightly personal training sessions to monthly as I want to do more xfit classes and follow the PRVN programme as much as possible. I've been feeling a lot stronger and now realy enjoying the workouts. So yeah, Keep Turning Up! Get up and get at it!
Hitting Day 9 of the new morning routine
Well it's been a good start to the new routine! Few bumps on the way including a little holiday to the beach, but have managed (importantly) to get right back into the routine. Was a bit ill over the past week so needed some rest. Just figuring out how best to capture the morning videos. Have downloaded InShot so will try that out then post here each week as my own accountability 👌👌
