Welcome to Keep Turning Up! šŸ‘Š
I'm James. 42 years old. 9-5 Civil engineer. Dad. And a man who got tired of playing roles that don't feel real anymore. This community exists for men who feel the same pull — the quiet voice telling you there's more to you. More presence. More strength. More authenticity. More of the man you were actually built to be. This isn't a highlight reel. There's no guru here. Just a man doing the work in real time — physically, mentally, as a father — and sharing every step honestly. The wins, the struggles, the breakthroughs and the setbacks. What we're building here together: - Regular check-ins and accountability - Honest conversations about discipline, fatherhood, and sovereignty - A collective of men choosing to become their higher selves — one day at a time, together The only rule: keep turning up! Even when it's messy. Even when you don't feel like it. Especially then. Follow the journey on YouTube šŸ‘‡ https://youtube.com/@jamesmasemann.official?si=PP8jiERRpsxkl5_r Drop a comment below and tell us who you are, a painful observation of yourself and one thing you're working on becoming. A famous quote I use as a guide: The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek. Joseph Campbell. Let's do this together. šŸ’Ŗ

Bed early, stopped coffee and alcohol for a week and felt...
...damn good! What a turnaround. I think I'd been running a high cortisol level, because I've been so tired lately. I think i was just pouring caffeine on the fire to get energy through the day. Most important is SLEEP. Getting more of it is a game changer. It takes discipline to go to bed early, which I've been clearly lacking. So yeah, if you get anything out of this message, it is GO TO BED EARLIER THAN YOU THINK. šŸ˜…šŸ˜…

Started out with a bang, now comes accountability
So yeah, i started out pretty hot. Made some vids and got some thoughts down, and now comes the hard part. Turning Up! I think I had been running on a high, and then absolutely crashed through the floor last Monday and ended up taking the whole week off. Having that week off really helped though. It felt good i was listening to my body. The following Monday came around and i started the Week 1 of the Build Phase. This is the start of a 90 day programme which I'll be posting in the paid section. The reason it is paid, and I've ummed and ahhd about it, is that making the payment is about accountability. We will also contribute to a weekly check in board in which we post how we're turning up. If we're struggling, the whole point is that myself and the group can offer support to maintain consistency šŸ™šŸ™
