One of the most requested lessons I get asked for inside this community is how to get book reviews.
And the truth is simple…
If you don’t put in the upfront work to get reviews, your book is going to struggle.
Think about it from a buyer’s perspective.
If you saw two books side by side on Amazon —one with 0 reviews and another with hundreds of reviews — which one are you buying?
Exactly.
Social proof matters.
But here’s something interesting that many new authors don’t realize…
You do NOT need hundreds of reviews to start making sales.
There are books on Amazon with less than 50 reviews making serious money.
I ran a quick search for “Gut Health” in Publisher Rocket and look at the screenshot attached.
One of the books only has 23 reviews and it’s generating over $3,600 per month in sales.
So yes — reviews matter.
But you don’t need thousands.
You just need a strategy to get those first ones rolling in.
Last month I hosted a workshop all about how to get reviews for your book, including the exact methods authors are using.
✅ Premium members already have instant access to the replay inside the classroom. For everyone else, I’ve put the workshop on sale this week for just $10 as a one-time purchase.
Honestly… it’s kind of a no-brainer investment if you want your book to actually sell.
