The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) plans to implement a temporary 8% surcharge on certain shipping services from April 26, 2026, to January 17, 2027. This surcharge, driven by rising fuel and transportation costs, applies specifically to Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, Ground Advantage, and Parcel Select, not first-class stamps.
