Just been sent something really amazing!

One of my 1-1 coaching students

just sent me a recording of their playing that really made me happy!

It’s not really pertinent for this post to go into exactly WHAT we are working on together, my main point is this…

I spend a lot of time working on my teaching, either the content I create for social media, the free challenges on here, the courses in the classroom, the weekly practise club and my 1-1 coaching.

I do it for two reasons,

One to make some sort of living based on my passion (jazz violin)

But the main one is because I get really excited when I get to help someone make any progress in their musical journey.

When I received that video today and listened through it really lifted my mood, it was a big “win” for me because I can hear a real “win” happening in Nicks playing.
