Practise Club Tonight Postponed!
Turns out the internet here isn’t going to allow me to give a good lesson. (I’m actually at the Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight which some of you may know or be about to get to know). I’m going to do tonight lesson on Thursday night 6pm UK time instead. Hope that will work for you! That’s Thursday 14th 6pm UK Time. Anyone in Premium who wants to come and join us, just let me know! Changed it all in the calendar for you too. Matt

Hi kids! sorry I'll miss you this week. I teach my fiddling course on Wed & Thurs at 1:00 here (6 pm Matt time), but I appreciate the (fab!) videos. And -- Isle of Wight... nice.

Hi there, my name is Valerie Selander and I'm a professional classical player from Ontario, Canada. About 12 years ago I began playing the non-classical music that I was attracted to, fiddle music and jazz band sounds, & took my first jazz workshop, etc. I was invited to play with a jazz manouche band in 2018 and figured out various ways to get started, but I am at a super-plateau! Want to dig into jazz harmony and improv strategies, plus the practise structure I think will be amazing. Looking forward to the group!

Thanks Matt! I'm already feeling the benefit of being with a group who are sharing some of the same experiences (or all of them, at different times - I've been nodding my head in agreement at others' comments). I've practised more regularly this week on my jazz materials than I have in ages. Thanks for the support & the pushes you give us in the vids.
