Just wanted to give some thoughts on these two monsters when it comes to fat loss...
Honestly we need both for effective fat loss but with that being said we can loose fat and keep our muscle we have with diet alone.
So if u had to concentrate on one subject to help a client who was fairly over whelmed i would say concentrate on making dietary changes to help your fat losss goal...
After ppl loose weight how they look gets into their head as more of an importance since they can actually see changes....than the workouts become easier and more fun!!!..
Top 5 fat loss dietary life changes i would recommend......
- Write down and document for 1 week what you are actually consuming...every bite, every cup of liquid so we know were we are ACTUALLY at not guesstimating.....
- Simple whole foods is the name of the game.. change out everything you can even if its little at a time for the clean simple whole foods....its weird how when we natural whole foods our body can actually use it tells us we are full and its always full faster than junk foods...because we can actually use these foods...with crap food our body doesnt know how to use them properly or what to do with them so you can eat a lot more before u feel full.
- Calories in calories...fat loss is simple....SIMPLE...it is not complicated....you dont need to know all the ins and outs of macros....you eat less calories than you need your body will be in a deficit...you will loose weight....period!!!!! Dont say this didnt work for me....cause it works for everyone...if you dont loose weight after 3 weeks in a deficit...you are not in an actual calorie deficit...
- Add in more protien...not garbage protien good protien...ideally 1 gram per 1lb of body weight or close to it....this will help your body keep your muscle and your body will burn fat than for fuel ..
- Dont starve, keep your metabolism going, and Hydration, HYDRATION, Hydration!!!!!...
