I am finding that I am using chocolate and sweet treats as a default regulation response before I go to my other tools like meditation.
When stressed I find myself mindlessly consuming for a good while before my brain kicks back on and I realise. So this may I will be breaking the habit of using sweet treats to regulate.
I will still consume them, but only when I am mindfully choosing to do so, but not in response to stress.
