JUDGES FEEDBACK
I’ve had so many people asking me what the feedback was from this weekend, so I wanted to come on here and explain a little bit more about the reality of competing because this sport is EXTREMELY subjective. Going into Miami, the feedback we had heard for bikini was that they were rewarding a softer look. So naturally, a lot of us came in trying to fit that criteria. We intentionally made sure my abs weren’t overly dominant and focused on bringing a softer presentation overall… just for the judges to then tell us they actually wanted MORE conditioning and a more conditioned core. 😂 So yes… next show, the abs are absolutely coming out LOL.
That’s the nature of bodybuilding though. You can win one weekend and place differently the next. It all comes down to the lineup, the look they’re rewarding that day, and what the judges want to see. It doesn’t make the work less valuable and it doesn’t suddenly erase what was built behind the scenes.
And truthfully? I’m incredibly proud of the package I brought. I got SECOND at my first show in Miami and qualified for NATIONALS. 🤍🏆
That alone is such a huge accomplishment to me because I know the amount of discipline, sacrifice, structure, consistency, and mental strength it took to get there. Most people will never fully understand what it takes physically and mentally to get your body to this level. The cardio, the exhaustion, the food, the training, the pressure, the constant adjustments… it’s a lot. But I love it. Now we have 3.5 weeks until Chattanooga, Tennessee for Nationals and these next few weeks are going to demand even MORE out of me. More cardio. More precision. More conditioning. Less food. More digging mentally.
I’m excited for it. Because this entire process continues to prove something I preach to you guys all the time: most people are capable of far more than they think they are. The problem is not capability. The problem is usually the excuses, the fear, the inconsistency, or negotiating with yourself before you even truly try.
You CAN do hard things. You CAN change your life. You CAN become stronger mentally and physically. But nobody can do the work for you. I’m going to continue sharing this journey openly over these next few weeks because I want people to see what it actually looks like to commit fully to something bigger than comfort.
And truly… thank you guys so much for all the love and support this weekend. I was trying so hard to answer messages between everything going on, but please know I see all of it and appreciate every single one of you more than you know.
You guys are genuinely such a huge reason I keep pushing forward. My goal has always been bigger than me. I want to continue building something that inspires people to raise their standards, take control of their lives, and realize they’re capable of more.
Now we lock in for Nationals. 🖤
