With the new year fast approaching, this is my wish …
I wish you peace, the kind best experienced after a full day of hard work but not so much that you become complacent or lazy.
I wish you stress, not the overwhelming kind but just enough to keep you trying and winning more often that you lose.
I wish you challenges and rewards. The kinda challenges you overcome over time by resting but never giving in. And rewards thst are earned not won.
Because most of all, I wish you wisdom and confidence and neither of those are earned from the cheap seats or by criticizing others.
Wisdom comes from trying, failing, learning and trying again with your newfound knowledge.
And confidence comes from knowing you may not have faced this challenge before but you have faced others and overcome. As a result, deep inside your spirit whispers, “We got this.”
Bottom line, an easy life makes you weak and being weak makes you vulnerable and I would never want that for you.
So I pray 2026 keeps you on your toes (with intermittent periods of deep rejuvenating rest) so that finally, by yearend, you realize just how well you dance.
And you never doubt it again.
I love you!
Sandi
