An IEP agenda is

a structured plan for an Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting, outlining topics like student progress, goals, services, and accommodations to ensure a productive discussion among parents and educators. It helps keep the meeting focused and ensures all necessary components are reviewed and updated

Introductions/Purpose: Welcome and state the meeting's goals.
Present Levels of Performance (PLAAFP): Review current academic, social, and functional performance.
Progress Review: Discuss how the student is doing on existing goals.
Goals & Objectives: Develop or update measurable annual goals.
Services & Accommodations: Decide on necessary special education services, related services, accommodations, and modifications.
Participation/Placement: Discuss participation in general education and state testing.
Next Steps/Signatures: Plan future actions and finalize documentation.
