You likely have weak adductors! This inner thigh muscle is key for athleticism but is somehow often ignored.
If you want to ACTUALLY move freely and become athletic then you must strengthen them.
Start with a Copenhagen plank. You can do reps or hold the plank at the top.
Once you get more advanced, you’ll need to do these band resisted Cossack squats. They will help you to get more dynamic strength and also get into sport specific angles.
