🌷Femme Radiance 🌷 is happening in 5 days
Your nervous system is always listening. Always learning.
The people and environments around you matter more than you realise. New studies are showing that women who surround themselves with people who inspire them often experience greater levels of growth, emotional regulation, confidence, and success. This is thanks to your "mirror neurons",Ā specialised brain cells that help you subconsciously absorb the emotions, behaviours, energy, beliefs, and habits of the people around you. When people say ā€œit’s a mirrorā€ or that you become the sum of those closest to you… they are actually right. We don’t just influence each other emotionally. We literally help shape each other’s nervous systems. This means: 🌿 Calm women help other women relax 🌿 Empowered women remind us what is possible 🌿 Emotionally balance women support safety around them 🌿 Healthy women inspire our own self-care And the opposite is also true. If you are constantly surrounded by: āŒ Chaos āŒ Negativity āŒ Competition āŒ Emotional instability āŒ Chronic stress …your body will soon enough begin to normalise survival mode before you even realised. This was me for many years... And how I learned that healing is not only about supplements, hormones, food, or protocols. It is also about: 🌿 Environment 🌿 Energy 🌿 Conversations 🌿 Standards 🌿 Relationships 🌿 Community A woman feels safe enough to heal when she feels: Seen. Safe. Supported. Inspired. This is one of the reasons I have intentionally spent years nourishing the women within my community 🌹 Inside our live sessions and group conversations, we remind each other what is possible. ✨ Choosing environments that nourish our nervous systems ✨ Connecting with women who believe in us ✨ Fostering spaces where trust, growth, and self-respect become the standard Because who you surround yourself with… you slowly become. ✨ šŸ¤ Reflection: Who around you makes you feel calmer, stronger, more inspired, and more connected to yourself? šŸ—“ļø Join me this Thursday, 14/05 at 7pm, for a deeper conversation on how connection, community, and emotional safety can support nervous system healing and hormonal wellbeing.

Your nervous system is always listening. Always learning.
Hormone balance begins with inner safety🌹
Hello beautiful, I believe most women are a little guilty of this: Pushing ourselves harder, when deep down we are already at capacity. We miss the invisible line between excelling and exceeding. While it is beautiful to grow, evolve, and create the life we desire… So often, we do this at the expense of our wellbeing. And this is where many hormone imbalances begin, especially for women over 35. 🪫Our lives are busy and we are juggling many roles, constantly giving, constantly thinking, constantly doing. āš ļø And while we want to balance our hormones and reduce our symptoms… Many of us are living in ways that quietly suppress reproductive health, ovulation, and progesterone production. 🪫Skipping meals 🪫Relying on caffeine or stimulants for energy 🪫Pushing through exhaustion 🪫Normalising anxiety 🪫Wearing burnout like a badge of honour The result? Worsening PMS or PMDD Weight gain Mood changes and emotional overwhelm Insomnia (especially waking between 2–4am) Low libido Feeling flat or ā€œungroundedā€ What many women don’t realise is that these symptoms often point to something deeper - A lack of inner safety. Because when the body is under constant stress… It shifts resources away from repair, restoration, and reproduction. Cortisol is progesterone’s greatest competitor - Both share the same precursor: pregnenolone. So when stress is high, the body prioritises survival over reproduction. And this matters deeply because progesterone is not just a ā€œpregnancy hormone.ā€ 🌹Progesterone is: Your nervous system regulator Your natural anti-anxiety support Your sleep ally Your cycle regulator That’s why having a balanced progesterone creates softness in a woman. Not only physically… but emotionally. Because it supports deeper sleep, emotional steadiness, resilience, and that feminine glow that naturally appears when a woman feels nourished and safe.✨ Progesterone also helps counterbalance some of the more inflammatory effects of excess or unopposed oestrogen I’ve mentioned earlier.

The Body Always Speaks… but are we really listening?
Most women are taught to manage symptoms… But not to understand what their body is actually communicating. Your body is constantly giving you feedback: Fatigue after meals Digestive issues Hormone imbalances Sleep disruptions These are not random. They are signals. ✨ In this free workshop, we’ll explore how emotions and stress directly impact your physical health, and how to start working with your body instead of against it. šŸ—“ This Tuesday 28/04, 7PM šŸ’« This workshop is based on the work of @Gabriela Gerizani, author of "How Your Emotions Can Shape Your Physical Health" And I’ll be co-hosting this session with her, combining emotional healing with clinical naturopathic support. Inside, we’ll cover: 🌹The connection between emotions + physical symptoms 🌹How stress shifts your hormones (especially in midlife) 🌹Why your body holds onto unresolved emotions 🌹Practical ways to begin regulating and supporting your system This is foundational work for any woman wanting to heal, rebalance, and feel like herself again. šŸ’« If you’re ready to understand your body on a deeper level, this is for you. šŸ‘‰ Comment ā€œI’m inā€ and what you would love to learn from us! See you tomorrow...

How stress creates hormone imbalances (+ 6 reasons you need a Detox)
Most women think hormone imbalance means: šŸ‘‰ ā€œI have too much or too little oestrogenā€ But clinically… it’s rarely that simple. Because stress doesn’t just change your hormones, it changes how your body uses, processes, and clears them. What actually happens under stress? Lower progesterone Poor oestrogen clearance Increased reabsorption Relative oestrogen dominance When you’re under chronic stress, your body shifts into survival mode. It increases Cortisol production, and it redirects resources away from reproduction and repair. 1ļøāƒ£ Progesterone drops first Your body uses the same building blocks to produce cortisol and progesterone. If stress is high, even the best nutrition will actually be diverted to more cortisol, which means your progesterone remains low despite your best efforts. 2ļøāƒ£ Oestrogen becomes ā€œunopposedā€ You may not always produce more oestrogen…But with lower progesterone, it can feel like you do. That’s what we call scientifically as ā€œRelative oestrogen dominanceā€. Think: IrritabilityBreast tendernessHeavy or irregular cycles, fibroids, endoFluid retentionMood swings 3ļøāƒ£ In some cases, oestrogen does increase If you are noticing an increase in abdominal fat, chances are fat tissue is converting other hormones into more oestrogen. Especially when insulin resistance is present. 4ļøāƒ£ The part most women are never told… Stress also impacts how oestrogen is metabolised and cleared - not just produced. šŸ‘‰šŸ½ This is where Detoxification becomes really important. Under chronic stress your Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Adrenal (HPA) axis is constantly activated. If your body is prioritising survival… you are not detoxyificating efficiently. The order becomes: Blood sugar balance -> Toxin removal -> Hormone clearance. šŸ”¬ The Phase 1 / Phase 2 Oestrogen is processed in two phases: Phase 1 → activation (more free radicals) Phase 2 → neutralisation + elimination Under chronic stress: Phase 1 can become overactive and Phase 2 becomes sluggish This creates:
