Posting soil mix
If your starting seeds this year here is a poting soil mix I use, it's a game changer.
1 3.8 bag of promix, the one that's for seed starting so it's nice and fine.
5 gallon bucket of good fine compost, I use my own but you could purchase some.
6 cups bone meal, you should be able to buy this from any hardware store or nursery. In the future I'll show you how to make your own.
2 1/4 cups blood meal, same as the bone meal you can find this one easily and if your slaughtering your own meat on your farm you can also make this yourself and save the extra cost.
3 cups kelp meal, local hardware store or nursery.
In turn you could probably purchase all of these things online.
All you do is mix them together well, make sure to start with dry soil so it mixes better, then wet it and fill your containers. This is way better then any miracle grow garbage you can buy and its all natural. Your seedlings will flourish and giving them a better start makes them stronger healthier plants overall.
Full disclosure this is not my recipe I got it from Floret Flowers, go check them out at
www.floretflowers.com or on facebook.
