Hello everyone, so on Monday I made a lovely post for this weeks focus and lost if before I could post it. It's been a busy week for me because we did our first market of the year, and I haven't had any time to rewrite it till now.
Last week we talked about planning something realistic that you can accomplish on your homestead, or just in your home or garden, this year. Now we're going even smaller and simpler. This week I want everyone to write a list of all the things they need to accomplish by the end of the month to achieve their goals. These aren't large projects, unless your currently working on one that will be finished by the end of the month, these are thing you need to do to stay on track. I'll give you a list of mine so you can see what I mean.
Here is my list:
  1. Cleaning out my greenhouse attached to my house, so I can get some starter plants out there.
  2. Pot up my lettuce and plant arugula and radish.
  3. Clean and organize my pantry and large freezer. I like to take stock so I know where we are with pantry food and we have 2 goats that need to go in the freezer so I need to make room.
  4. Clean out my market area garden where I will grow potatoes and peas. These are the first things I plant in the garden and I need the area ready by the 1st of March.
If I can get these 4 things done by the end of the month I'll be very happy with myself. What does your list look like?
