Hi everyone!! 👋 Now that we’ve got a few more members joining, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself! I’m Mady, the founder of Hollis Creative Academy. Over the last 3 years, I’ve grown our social media marketing company to a healthy mid six-figure business, and along the way I had to figure out a lot of the systems, structure, and strategy on my own. That’s really why I built this community. My hope for HCA is to create a space where we share the wealth — not in a gatekeepy, competitive way, but in a way where more social media managers and freelancers get the opportunity to build real, sustainable businesses. There’s room for all of us to win. Since I’m asking you to introduce yourselves, I’ll go first 😊 1️⃣ Name + where I’m from: I’m Mady, and I’m from Texas (yeehaw) 🤠 2️⃣ What I currently do: I run our content marketing company with my husband and my best friend! We’re currently transitioning the company to focus on video production only, because that’s really where my passion is and we want to spend more time doing the work we love. 3️⃣ Fun fact about me: I’m a mom of two boys and one bonus daughter, and I recently picked up crocheting and I’m honestly obsessed with it right now 😂 4️⃣ What I’m hoping to gain from this community: My biggest hope is that this becomes a space where social media managers and freelancers can gain the skills, structure, and confidence they need to help their businesses truly thrive. A few fun facts about me 👇🏻 I was born in NY and moved to Texas when I was 11, and been here since! I am a mom to a 10-year old girl and 2 cats! 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 -meow I worked in the restaurant industry for 14 years and I'm FREE thanks to Hollis Creative! 🎉 I am a lover of cozy hobbies - The Sims (or any PC gaming for that matter), coloring, journaling, painting, etc. So excited to learn more about all of you! 😌
