Let’s talk about confidence…
If you’re struggling with feeling confident in your business right now — I promise you’re not behind. And I say that as someone who has been there. Multiple times. Not just at the start — but at every new stage of building our business. Because here’s the thing nobody tells you: confidence doesn’t just show up once and stay. It comes in waves. And every time you level up — new offer, new client, new process — that “am I actually ready for this” feeling comes right back. It's not like you figure it out once and you're done. It comes in waves. And honestly? Every time we've taken a new step in this business — a new offer, a new process, a new stage of growth — that feeling of "am I actually ready for this" comes right back. In the beginning it was discovery calls that got me. Getting on the phone with a potential client and trying to sound like I knew exactly what I was doing when half the time I was terrified they were going to ask me something I didn't have an answer to yet. But here's what I learned — and what I want you to really hear: Confidence doesn't come from having the idea. It comes from doing the thing even when you're scared. You are not going to wake up one day and suddenly feel ready. That feeling is not coming before you start. It only comes after — after the first discovery call, after the first client, after the first time you figure something out you didn't think you could. You build confidence the same way you build anything else. By showing up before you feel ready and letting the experience teach you what no amount of preparation ever could. So if you're sitting on the sidelines right now waiting to feel confident enough — that's your sign. You're already waiting too long. --- Tell me where you're at 👇 Is confidence something you're currently struggling with? What's the thing you keep waiting to feel ready for?

A feeling I have always faced 😅 one day I am confident enough to open a conversation with a business owner. Then she didn’t answer and my confidence was shrinking and hiding. Thanks for this post Mady!

Hi! I am Esther, from Bogor, Indonesia. Just know this community because I subscribe to Mady’s Substack :) Currently I am helping my brother to grow his business’ Instagram account, but I want to scale internationally and worked with them because that’s my goal. I like working with people across different countries because it is a room to know how international communication works 😉 Hopefully, I can learn about client pitching, outreaching, and handling them from this community. That’s my intention when I joined this group. Fun fact: I love matcha than coffee, and I have a matcha creation kit at home 🍵
