At its core, the book argues that life is inherently difficult, often chaotic, and sometimes unfair. The spine of the book (the 12 rules, in spirit) Each “rule” is a doorway into a bigger idea: - Stand up straight with your shoulders back - Biology meets behavior. Your posture reflects and shapes how you face the world. Act like someone who can handle things, and you start becoming that person. - Treat yourself like someone you’re responsible for helping - People often care for others better than themselves. The invitation: extend that same care inward. - Make friends with people who want the best for you - Your environment is a silent architect of your life. - Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today - Progress is personal. External comparison is a thief dressed as motivation. - Do not let your children do anything that makes you dislike them - Discipline is not cruelty. It’s guidance that helps shape functional humans. - Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world - Before fixing society, fix your immediate reality. Start small. Named problems become manageable. - Do not bother children when they are skateboarding - Risk is part of growth. Overprotection weakens resilience. - Pet a cat when you encounter one on the street - Even in suffering, there are small pockets of grace. Notice them.

When you are down.
Blessings to you all dear friends. I am becoming to know and starting to feel the joy and comfort of living life with a higher vibration, though for sure I have a long way to go. I was wondering what you do when you wake up one day with no motivation, with a feeling of depression and laziness. I often just get dragged into it and only properly emerge into the light after some days. I hate these times. Do you have any suggestions for how to stay afloat, or at least struggle back to the surface faster? I really want to get past this and feel a part of the universe, reveling in it's loving guiding energy!
When something upsets you, where do you go first?
When something painful happens, many of us immediately focus on the other person, the situation, the injustice, what should have happened differently. That’s human. But sometimes, the deeper shift begins when we also ask: What is happening inside me right now? What is this touching in me? What do I need in this moment? Sometimes outer events trigger inner wounds that were already waiting to be seen. When are you experiencing this in your life?
