Something I’ve been learning recently,
Action creates clarity faster than overthinking ever will
I used to spend so much time trying to mentally prepare before starting something.
Making sure the timing was right
Trying to avoid mistakes
Wanting certainty first
But the more I delay action, the heavier things feel in my mind
This week I finally pushed myself to move on something I’d been postponing for a while with my online work and the interesting part wasn’t even the result
It was how much lighter I felt after taking action
Like my nervous system relaxed once I stopped resisting
Sometimes the energy drain isn’t the task
It’s the hesitation.
Anyone else notice that too?
