Whenever I was younger I used to resent someone sharing their wins.
Deep down I wanted to be happy for them.
I wanted to be truly grateful for their success but subconsciously I was angry.
I was upset at that because I didn't have such results.
Let me tell you what I did to overcome this:
simply just realize the reality of the situation that being resentful will not push me forward.
For instance for you if it's whenever you see people's mental health results, their scores for instance, and they have low symptoms, then the thing is you should be grateful for them.
You should not be resentful.
The reason it is for this is because whenever you resent people who have what you want, you just will push yourself away from it.
Imagine a magnet. Whenever you just embrace all our success, you're happy. The magnet gets you closer to the results that you want but if not then your magnet repels and doesn't even go close to the results that you want.
Just keep that analogy in mind.
Hope this helped.
