World Tarot Day is a real thing!!
It was founded in 2003 by Den Elder, a Tarot Grandmaster who got fed up with the garbage she kept hearing about tarot in the media.
So, she did what any of us would do (or probably something I would do🤣) and she made a whole holiday about it!
Her whole goal was simple: a day for everyone to come together, have fun, and show people who don't get it yet that tarot actually has a lot going for it.
That it has a lot of history, nobody was summoning demons! They were just playing cards and connecting.
Now every May 25th, tarot readers, teachers, and general deck obsessives all over the world pull out their cards and celebrate together.
