Last night I was speaking to the young man who has developed anger issues, bad impulse control, and memory issues. Last night, he showed me a list of his medications. I almost hit the floor.
They have him taking one medication 3 times a day for something it is not used for. In 2014, the manufacturer was hit with a class action suit because it caused permanent cognitive decline in some, and early onset dementia in others. The manufacturer quietly plead guilty and happily paid a billion dollar fine. This kept any evidence from being presented and they have continued to sell tons of it.
The young man knew none of this of course. Being 30, he was stunned when I told him many of those with early onset dementia were in their 30's and 40's. I told him how I have informed 5 other people of this and that all got off the drug with dramatic health improvement. The young man will cut it to 2 a day for awhile....then one......then stop. They prescribed it for "anxiety" which it is was never meant for, and at a ridiculous dosage.
I count that as a win as his life is going to get a lot better.
