Putting Jesus At The Center Of Our Health
Call me crazy but taste isn’t my main reason for food selection (if it were I’d be eating ice cream all day. Trust.) 🍦 I choose primarily God Grown Goods not just because of how they make ME feel, but how me feeling phenomenal makes OTHERS feel. Here me out: ➡️ How we health either can help or hurt people. It’s true. The health status of our bodies, minds, faith, and relationships impacts everyone we come in contact with. ➡️ We project outside what’s happening inside. So, eat for how you want to look? How’s that goal going for ya? 😉 Eat for how you want to treat people. Because love is the most powerful goal Jesus gave us. ✝️
Putting Jesus At The Center Of Our Health
Health = Available. Not skinny.
I’m am convinced that Biblical physical wellness has way LESS to do with becoming the skinniest version of ourselves… …and way MORE to do with becoming the most AVAILABLE version of ourselves. Episode 7️⃣1️⃣ of the Healtheology Podcast digs into health giving us the capacity to be: 🩵Available to love 🩵Available to serve 🩵Available to show up with energy, patience, strength, and presence for the people God placed in front of us Because when your body constantly feels depleted, inflamed, exhausted, overstimulated, or neglected… everything feels harder than it needs to. This doesn’t mean we worship health. And it doesn’t mean we obsess over our bodies. 👉 It means we steward them. (steward = taking care of something that isn’t ours) ❌Not for vanity ❌Not to earn approval ❌Not to become “the fit friend” But for **capacity** Healthy to help. Not skinny to socialize 🤍 What’s your opinion on this?
Free Bible Study
I copied link for the colorful worksheet in the Bible Devotional. Must admit, my brain reset it into a Venn Diagram, but 🤍 the personal accountability in my daily devotion. It’s amazing how 1 sheet can change your trajectory in development for a closer walk with God. The visuals of growth, grace and peace, hold me together for not only accountability, but also intentional areas I need to work thru for growth with the Holy Spirit!

Health Seeker’s Guide to Holy Week: Good Friday ✝️
The Cross ✝️ What Happened: - Jesus accepted His fate… and was crucified. An extremely painful, gruesome, public death. What It Means: Sacrifice • Love • Redemption • Obedience to the end Your Practice: Luke 23:46 Breath Prayer • Inhale: “Jesus called out with a loud voice, • Exhale: “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” • Inhale: When he had said this, • Exhale: he breathed his last.” ‭ Walk It Out: Let’s slowwww down for once and remember. His obedience His sacrifice His mission His pain His love Real Life: I’ve rushed past many a Good Friday… eager to get to Easter sure, but also if we’re traveling on spring break. This year, i used walks & brief moments of alone time to pray, praise, repent, ask, & yield. Just contemplating what this all means for me, and us. 👑
