We’re continuing our August journey through Psalm 1 and our RPMS Biblical Wellness framework. And this week... we’re getting PHYSICAL. 🥑 But NOT with another diet, detox, or list of foods we’re “not allowed” to eat. Nope! 🙅♀️ This week’s Biblical Wellness Rhythm is all about NOURISHMENT and a simple question: >>> What can I ADD to better nourish the body God gave me? <<< In this week’s Substack article, I shared 3 Tiny Nutrition Rhythms I personally use to make nourishing choices a little easier: 🥦 1. Add a God-Grown Good. -- Look at your meal and ask: What can I add that grew from the ground, a tree, a vine, plant, or animal? 💪 2. Pair it with protein. -- Rather than obsessing over what to remove, make sure your meal has a source of protein to help strengthen & satisfy you. 🏠 3. Make your environment work FOR you. -- What we see, stock, prep, and keep within reach can make nourishing choices easier...or harder. Those are the quick hits, but I go deeper into the why & how behind each one in this week’s Substack article. Give it a read, choose ONE tiny nutrition rhythm to practice this week, and let us know how it went!! 🩵 🍽️ AND SPEAKING OF NOURISHMENT… We had 12 Healtheology ladies around the table at our Monthly Meal last night!! 🥹 No workout. No formal Scripture study. Just food, fellowship, conversation, laughter, and making space to be with one another. Relational wellness counts, too. 💙 💪 NEXT UP: BIBLICAL WELLNESS WORKOUT Our next in-person gathering is Tuesday, August 25 from 7–8:30 PM at COMMUNITY Christian Church Downers Grove. We’ll be back to moving our bodies, soaking in Scripture, and practicing Biblical Wellness together as we wrap up our month in Psalm 1. If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, consider this your invitation to come try it. You do NOT need to be “fit,” know anyone, or have done one of our workouts before. Come as you are. 🌱
