Hello fellow humans, I wanted to share this book with everyone! It's a book called 6 foot tiger in a 3 foot cage. It's about your tongue, jaw and airway. It could be the cause to a lot of your health issues, and until you structurally fix it, no matter what you eat, drink, or whatever you do won't help that much. Blocked airway can cause - adhd - poor sleep - teeth grinding - cavities - sinus infection - memory issues - pot belly - weight gain - food allergies - list goes on I myself have been on a health journey for quite sometime, even worked with Haven Healt at one point. Ive literally done and continue to do anything/everything you can think of. My health didn't start improving till I started expanding my jaw and fixing my airway. After two visits to two separate holistic airway focused orthodontists I found out I have an airway equivalent of a 4 year old. I've been on this journey for the last 3-4 months, wearing Hyrax Upper/Lower Jaw Expanders and we increased my jaw by another 14mm. Ive also done NightLase treatments to tighten the muscle inside my throat which further opens up my airway. Now I am still far from being done, but so far my sleep has improved, my gut feels way better, memory is better, I actually wake up feeling refreshed, you name it. How I found out I had airway issues, was by simply wearing a Pulse Oximeter on my finger and found out that my oxygen lvl was dropping to 60% at night when Id go into deep sleep, and my heary rate would shoot to 160-180 BPM. This was happening several times a night, so I never got well rested sleep, and with shitty sleepy there is a ray of health issues that come down the line. So if you are having any of the listed issues above, I highly recommend going to a airway focused dentist who could check you for a tongue tie and airway issues.
