✨ Why we meditate together
Meditation isn’t about having a quiet mind. For some people that comes easily - for many of us (including me!!!), it doesn’t. And that’s not a problem.
The practice is not to stop your thoughts, but to notice them. You'll see your mind wander - that’s normal. Your only job is to observe it, gently bring your attention back to the present moment, and reconnect with the music and my voice.
This simple skill translates into everyday life. You will begin to notice your thoughts instead of being ruled by them. And when you can observe your thoughts, you can change them. What you repeat, you become. Change your thoughts - change your life.
This doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why we practice - together - every single week. ✨
🌿 You might be wondering why I offer these meditations for free every week, and what I gain from it. The truth is, I gain something deeply meaningful. I meditate every single day and have done so for years, and through this practice I’ve experienced profound healing, clarity, and moments of true coming home to myself. But there is something uniquely powerful and sacred about sharing this practice. Bringing people together from all over the world, even for just half an hour, to quiet the mind, soften the heart, and heal together feels incredibly precious and delicate. Guiding this space and witnessing that collective shift fills me with gratitude every single week - I truly feel blessed. 🤍
I just want to say - it truly melts my heart that some of you reached out when you saw it was moved in the calendar. Thank you for your support, and more importantly, for showing up for yourselves week after week. That’s where the real work happens.
