Count out loud
Say the beats as you play

It might feel weird or hard at first
You may lose your place
That is okay
Counting out loud helps your brain lead the way
It makes your right hand follow the beat
Over time your hand will know what to do without thinking
It will feel easy and smooth
If you skip this step you may get stuck
But if you practice counting out loud
You will get better faster
