I started doing it yesterday. And this morning. Had to follow @Steve Gast’s example and post. 1) I had a bunch of great heart to hearts after sharing fears I don’t feel is easy to share with even close friends and family. 2) I connected with some amazing generous Skoolers and Goosify crew and truly felt heard. 3) MY COMMUNITY BROKE INTO THE TOP 999 IN DISCOVERY IN THE MONEY CATEGORY!!!!!! (in exactly 3 weeks!!!) 4) I got to put away my phone, go pick up my daughter 3 year old early from daycare, and have an awesome connected afternoon together and hang out at the playground for HOURS. Thanks to a bunch of incredible Skoolers coming to support. It’s such a vibe here. Something like nothing I’ve experienced before. The willingness to share, grow, and help one another in the most unselfish, authentic ways. It’s EXACTLY what I’ve been longing for for YEARS! So thank you @Goose Dunlavey for introducing me to the magic of your community. And this affirmation is something I will continue to say over and over and over again (secretly in your lovely voice in my head) It just forces me to attract all the right things to me. Thank you all for such a beautiful thing you’re all building here. ❤️

So there I was, tangled in Reformer straps like a human pretzel, when my Pilates instructor Lauren dropped this bomb: "Think of yourself as a seahorse." Me: "What are you talking about?" Lauren: eyes gleaming with marine biology passion, "Seahorses have the most romantic daily ritual! Every morning, they dance together to strengthen their bond. They change colours, intertwine tails, and pirouette around shared holdfasts!" She starts demonstrating on the Reformer, moving like a graceful sea creature while I look like a beached whale. "And get this," she continues, "the MALE gets pregnant! The female has an ovipositor—basically a penis-equivalent—and deposits eggs into his brood pouch!" The entire class stopped, while Lauren continued. "He carries up to 2,000 babies and goes into labour for HOURS, pumping and thrusting to birth them all!" She even showed us a video. Honestly, the birthing motion looks like he's sneezing. Then, get this, they immediately mate again. 🙄 Every day's a school day for me. What about you? What obscure fact have you learned today?
