I'm finally getting some action in my community!🌟
I have a writing community with 108 members 😁 and people are finally getting active in there! For a while, it felt like I was just yelling into the void. Some people are posting their writing and responding to my writing prompts, etc. I'm getting some action, but still not to the level that I want. What do you guys do in your communities to get people active, posting, and participating?

So gratefull and happy!
and slightly unexpected... 🥇 We're only back in first place in the Super Blitz! I know it's so close between me and my worthy competitor @David Ashby from n8n so it could all change at any given moment, but just let me bask in this incredible glory just for a moment. 🌟 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 for anyone supporting us this month and joining us at Start a Business with No Money, I'm so super grateful to you all for supporting me, liking my value added post, and for humouring me my joining in on my occasionally ridiculously silly posts here in Goosify. I love it here with my fellow Geese people. 🥰 Anyway, 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴!!! Just tell me what I can do to encourage you to come and join us to help us win this month? I'll happily share my secrets with you and help you win next month? (I'm so excited right now I'd probably agree to give you all a free all expenses paid holiday, a free car, and a cuddly toy, so please keep your asks realistic 🫣) And if we win, I'll pay for @David Ashby over to mow your lawn! Okay, not really, but if you will have the super satisfaction of knowing you were a key part of that WIN!
So gratefull and happy!

THANK YOU for the Goose Boost! [UPDATE]
Last week I was gifted by Goose and the community with an hour of support about my Skool community offer and positioning copy. [Link to replay is here] The model I'm replicating is Jamie Heinrich's AI Filmmaking. Thumbnail attached. My core offer line was previously: "Buzztown: Where screenwriters stop waiting & start making their movies" Goose suggested "Buzztown" was adding significant friction. Which was a great call, so I removed it. And he also suggested 2 offer ideas with sharper outcomes: "make 5K/month making 1 minute movies" "advance your career making 1 minute movies" Those were very instructive for me. So I played around with all of this, updated the thumbnail, and the next thing I'll test is: "Hey Screenwriter - Get noticed by turning your script into a movie clip" I wanted to call out the avatar more directly. Plus, screenwriters have deep emotional connection to their scripts (they spend 100+ hours on those puppies) so "your script" may strike a nerve. And I think "get noticed" is a little more clear and primal than "advance your career." And here's the About Page copy: =================== GET YOUR STORY SEEN Most scripts die on laptops. But you can make a 1 minute movie from it and make things happen for your career. REAL EXAMPLES 🎬 Jono Matt (Brooks' colleague) created a concept trailer - got Channing Tatum attached to his project before the screenplay was even written. 🎬 Luke Barnett (Brock's colleague) posted a short film online - got 2 million views, and had dream managers and producers fighting over him. 🎬 Steve Pinder (Brooks' client) proved his storytelling ability in short-form work - got nominated for an Oscar. Talent shows - within a minute. WHO WE ARE Brooks Elms is a WGA writer with 45+ scripts written, 2 features directed, and 100+ writers coached 1:1. Brock Swinson is a viral storytelling expert with 400M+ views and host of Creative Principles, where he's interviewed 700+ Hollywood creatives.

I need a hug!! 🤗🐒‼️♥️ We all need hugs or at least some human contact regularly - like DAILY
‼️♥️🐒 When was the last time you received and gave a really good, long hug (not a weird creepy hug), to a friend or loved one. How many hugs did you get today? 🙄 Sitting here in my dining room, on a computer, I am fully reminded of the lack of intimate human contact. And I know I am not the only one…🙄🤗 ‼️‼️♥️ Think about this: - A 20-second hug releases oxytocin, boosting trust, safety, and connection. - Hugging lowers cortisol, helping ease stress and support overall well-being. - Self-soothing touch—like a hand on your heart—creates the same calming benefits anytime. ❤️‍🔥🍒❤️‍🔥 Your 20-Second Hug Challenge: (from the Imogen Bailey Honouring Heart Substack) Try this in your next circle (or with a friend/loved one, or solo with a pillow for practice!): 1. Set a timer for 20 seconds. 2. Embrace fully—heart to heart. 3. Breathe in sync: Inhale for 4, hold 4, exhale 4. 4. Release and share one word on how you feel.

The responsibility of great power...
If we all have gifts and talents, and some more than others, how do you know exactly which gift to pour your energy into? I've heard countless times that you need to avoid spreading yourself too thin or go all in on one thing, but what if you have so many passions that you are simply not fulfilled by going all in on one thing? What if deciding to do that one thing forces you to reject every other part of you? Who are we really if we are denying parts of ourselves? So many questions, please send help. Thank you.
