I am a step-mom to two young adults (17 and 18) who have lived with me and my husband full time for almost 10 years. They have seen me in my legal career (aka a job) and they are currently seeing me as an entrepreneur (creating my own life). I am a firm believer in showing them they have options (contrary to what the system teaches). I share with them as much as I can (or as much as they tolerate listening to) about building a business. I find their questions super insightful and surprising and I find myself wishing I had someone like me to show me there were other/different ways. It just got me wondering out loud whether anyone else with children/step-children in this group do the same?
