Over the last year on Skool, Iβve learned a lot about myself and what it means to be on Skool.
I got bogged down thinking about all the "business" things that I needed to do. Funnels. Systems. Pages. Analytics. They're all important, but when I focused only on that, I lose the part I actually enjoy most.
Connecting with people.
Iβve been on Skool for about a year, but if Iβm being honest, my own community has lived on the back burner for most of that time. I kept telling myself I needed to βget everything rightβ before showing up more.
What Iβve realized is that the best moments Iβve had on Skool didnβt come from strategy. They came from conversations. DMs. Comments. Late night calls. Real people sharing real stuff.
Some of the best conversations Iβve had this year happened inside Goosify.
Thatβs why moving forward Iβm choosing to optimize for connecting with people.
- Less pressure to build the perfect thing
- More effort to be present
- More curiosity
- More helping when I can
- More listening
Going to my first IRL back in September changed everything for me. Meeting people in person made the platform feel real in a way it never had before. Since then Iβve tried to make it to almost every Texas IRL because that energy is hard to replace.
Goose and the Goosify team have built something special here, and I can feel it. Itβs not only tactics. Itβs culture. Itβs people who actually care.
I get a lot of joy from being in this community, and Iβm grateful for the work that goes into making it what it is.
If you see me around more, this is why. Iβm here to connect, learn, and contribute where I can.
