Google Profile Disabled
One of my clients, (HRG Services Ltd) is having an issue with their Google Business Profile, the video verification was rejected due to the first video not fitting what we required, they attempted a second video by opening the office site but we don't have any signage there as it's just an office area, our accounts team are based there. Since trying the second video our account has been disabled. We appealed this and uploaded our Company's House registration to this location but this was denied and our account remains disabled. Due to the account being disabled we are no longer able to edit to just be an "SAB", when the appeal was denied we were told we would receive an opportunity to upload another video (Tuesday 26th March) but this still hasn't come through yet. I'm going to send an email over to [email protected] and also into the Google Community Forum in hopes of an expert taking pity on us! Will update things as I go but any advise or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Google Reviews Disappearing? What’s Your Experience?
Did You Think Your Old Google Reviews Were Safe? Think Again… For years, it seemed like if a Google review made it past the first few weeks, it was there to stay. But the latest research tells a different story: - Out of 335,520 reviews analyzed, 26% were removed more than a year after being posted! - Most removals didn’t happen right away 77% disappeared after day 10 or later. - Some reviews vanished overnight after sitting quietly for over a year, with no warning or explanation. So what’s going on? Every time Google updates its algorithm, it seems to re-check old reviews, even the ones that looked “safe.” The rise of smarter, AI-powered review checks means no review is ever truly permanent. Why does this matter? If you manage multiple profiles or care about your business’s reputation, losing reviews suddenly (especially old ones) can be a real headache. What can you do? - Check review history regularly, not just when you’re pushing for new ones. - Watch for clusters of reviews disappearing on the same day. - Keep a steady flow of genuine, policy-compliant reviews coming in. - Screenshot genuine reviews, so you have a copy of them - Use software to capture all your genuine reviews Let’s hear from you! Have you ever lost a Google review months (or even years) after it was posted? How did you find out? Did it affect your business or your clients? What’s your best tip for staying on top of review removals? 👇 Drop your stories, surprises, and strategies in the comments! Let’s help each other stay ahead of the curve.

Add a storefront photo
What if this is a home service, no office but google still asks for "storefront photo." It doesn't seem to let me dismiss and the donut for profile strength doesn't close.
Name Change
This business is thinking of changing their name to one that feels of their vibe. Currently only getting 30 interactions per month, I've suggested now would be better than later with all the work that is about to go into building the brand. I know they need to update website and other citations, but do you have any recommendations when changing names?
When did you last check your profile?
Do you check it weekly, daily or just when you remember?
