Season closer

So last week saw the end of my competitive season with the championship final sadly loosing 3-0, all 3 goals in the last few minutes. But the story of the Final was so much different to score line. We missed 2 open goals in the first half then on 60 minutes we were reduced to 10 men. A Barrage of attacks followed until the 84th Minute when a finger tip save on to the post came back off my back and despite the efforts of my full back into the net. (I have unwillingly been accredited the own goal 🫣)

A few more large saves before the second and finally despite a handball by the striker a last ditch penalty sent us down 3-0

So on the this weekend and tomorrow a 3 hour each way trip for a charity friendly down in Fife at Glenrothes strollers.

Then a winter to bring back together my health and fitness to allow me to go again after my 47th Birthday.... 1 more season well why not.....
