Today we kicked off the GLOW Up Week with Step #1: Release the Shoulds.
This is a powerful week to begin this work.The New Moon is on Friday and the Winter Solstice is on Sunday, which makes this a sacred pause point. A natural reset. A closing and a beginning. It is the perfect week to gently move through the 7 Steps to GLOW Up, starting with releasing what no longer belongs to you so you can plant new intentions from a place of truth. If you want to go deeper, here is another exercise you can try this week. 🌑 Step One Practice: Release + Intend Give yourself 15 to 30 minutes. Sit somewhere quiet. Breathe. Move slowly. Journaling prompts Read each one slowly and let your answers come without overthinking. - What expectations have I been trying to live up to? - Where have I been choosing approval over alignment? - What am I ready to release before the new year begins? - What do I truly want to feel and experience next? - What is one New Moon intention I am ready to plant from a place of truth? - What is one next right action I can take in the next 7 days? After you write, pause for a moment. Let your body catch up to your mind. Witness and Speak It If you feel called, share with a partner, a friend, or right here in the group. You can simply name: - One “should” you are releasing - One intention you are planting - One next right action you are committing to this week Clarity grows when we speak things out loud and allow ourselves to be witnessed. ✨ Closing Ritual To seal the work, try this simple ritual. Write one sentence beginning with:“I am ready to receive…” Hold it to your heart. Read it quietly to yourself or share it in the comments. You can repeat these affirmations if they resonate: - I release what is not mine. - I choose clarity over approval. - I trust my inner rhythm. - I take the next right step.
