He changed his attire and adopted inner China customs on the outskirts as to recreate a culture that he could minister to. Without asking for funds from anyone, he’d trust God and pray for financing for the missions work he did. William Carey is a shoemaker maker who was dedicated to missions in India. After being told he was foolish for trying to convert an uncivilized people, he persisted for 7 years seeing no conversions, to keep ministering and translating the Bible for what others called “heathens”.
