DAILY DISCIPLINE — STEADYING YOUR MIND
Most men don’t lack belief. They lack control over what they let sit in their mind. You don’t drift because you’ve rejected God. You drift because your thoughts are undirected. You are not led by your thoughts. In Christ, you are called to take them captive. Today’s Discipline (5–10 minutes) Sit in silence. Take one verse you already know (or a simple truth like “The Lord is my shepherd”). Repeat it slowly. When your mind wanders, bring it back—without frustration. Why This Matters A scattered mind leads to a scattered life. A trained mind builds steadiness, clarity, and self-control. Carry This Today You don’t follow every thought. You choose what leads you.

Weekly Formation Focus - March 2
Steady, Not Reactive The stuck patternYou feel inconsistent. Some days you’re sharp. Other days you drift. When emotion dips, your discipline dips with it. You assume something is wrong with you. It isn’t instability. It’s reactivity. Identity anchor: In Christ, you are not driven by impulse. You are governed by truth. “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 Peace is not a feeling. It is a governing order. You are not a man trying to manufacture steadiness. You are a man learning to live from it. Disciplined daily action (10 minutes) This week, begin your day the same way every morning: 1. Read one short passage of Scripture (no hopping around). 2. Write one sentence: “Because I am in Christ, I will…” 3. Choose one specific act of obedience for that day. Do this before your phone. Before news. Before reaction. Why this matters: Consistency forms identity.Reactivity erodes it. You do not need intensity this week. You need rhythm. Return to the same place every morning.Stand there.Build from there.

Train for Decades, Not PRs
Most men don’t break down because they trained hard — they break down because they trained stupid for too long. :Longevity training isn’t about lifting lighter. It’s about lifting smarter. The goal is simple: stay strong, stay mobile, and stay pain-free for decades — not just your next PR.That means strength that protects joints, mobility you actually use, and conditioning that builds energy instead of draining it. What’s one exercise or training habit you’ve had to let go of to stay pain-free? If you want the full breakdown — including weekly structure and common mistakes that wreck longevity — it’s here 👇https://garyvoysey.ca/best-longevity-workouts-to-stay-strong-and-pain-free/
How to Break a Weight Loss Plateau and Start Burning Fat Again
If fat loss has stalled, it’s not because you’re lazy — it’s because your body adapted. Plateaus don’t happen to quitters. They happen to disciplined people. A weight loss plateau isn’t failure — it’s feedback.Your metabolism has simply become efficient at the inputs you’ve been giving it.That means the answer isn’t more punishment… it’s better signals. Smarter training, strategic nutrition adjustments, and proper recovery are what restart fat loss — not slashing calories or adding endless cardio. When progress stalls, what’s your first instinct — push harder or step back and reassess? I broke down exactly how to adjust training, nutrition, and recovery without blowing everything up here 👇 👉 https://garyvoysey.ca/how-to-break-a-weight-loss-plateau/
