You Were Named Before You Performed
Paul opens Ephesians by calling his readers saints.
Not "men trying to be saints." Not "saints in progress." Saints.
That word was written over you before this week started. Before you succeeded or failed. Before you showed up or didn't.
The lie: I have to earn my way back to standing with God.
The truth: Your standing was declared, not achieved. Ephesians 1:1 calls you a saint — present tense, settled, in Christ.
You don't climb toward that. You live from it.
Carry this today: I am not working toward sainthood. I am living from it.
