Would love some feedback on this!
Hey there! So firstly, I’d like to apologize for being so quiet. I was really excited to join this community and see everyone’s progress on their projects. However, I tend to burn out super quickly. Balancing a retail night position, trying to look into a new career path, and trying to build new skills, while regaining that creative spark is admittedly a lot. (Winter doesn’t help either.) Which leads me to just halt my own progress in learning, causing me to “shut down” in a way. I suddenly find myself not in the mood to code and even ease away from engaging in these smaller communities that I love. I’m curious if anyone has some thoughts on this dilemma I’ve always struggled with. Honestly, this took a lot for me to even reach out, but I’d greatly appreciate any feedback you guys have. Hope everyone is doing well. Peace!
New project on the works
I'm working on an arkanoid clone. Mechanics are mostly done, now I'd like to focus on the sprites and sfx. What do you think about the paddle jump or laser shots?

My First Game Dev Project
Hello everyone! I'm Lucas from Spain. I recently started game development as a hobby, and my very first programming project was SpaceCat's Flappy Bird Tutorial. I even added some extra features on my own. Try it out: https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?pid=179054#p
