Request for a Lighter Dashboards Background

I find the black background on the dashboards quite hard on the eyes, especially later in the evening. I also find it difficult to see the scrollbar because it's dark grey on a black background. Would it be possible to change the dashboard background to a lighter colour, such as light grey? I think it would make it much easier to read and navigate.
